A day for mothers

So for mothers day we decided to go out to Turlock and visit my mum. Although she was so sad that we weren't able to come out sooner. But our good friends Marz and Venus, not their real names of course, were speaking in church since they would be moving. But we still went out right after sacrament. It was such a great day. We all went to Ama and Apa's house, my grandparent, and had the biggest mothers day Mexican feast you could have hoped for.

Of course we weren't able to visit my mother-in-law but we'll be seeing her when we fly to utah. For the both of our mothers I wanted to do something special so I tried extra hard to design some cute cards. I swear my mother-in-law can pump out cute crafty cards like a Martha Stewart assembly line! So I wanted to take on a challenge, I knew she would appreciate something home made. They both turned out very cute, I think! For my mom, we bought some flowers at costco and a vase at target and I arranged them the night before. They were beautiful, just like my mom. I had an additional gift for both of them but it hasn't come yet. When it does I will let you all know.
