I love parties. Understatment, nothing seems to be more fun then spending money ( better if it's not mine), on fun little tidbits to make someone feel special. Especially when that someone has never had a proper SURPRISE birthday party EVER! And since this someone is one of my newly founded "besties" as they say it was a must. Her husband and I carefully communicated details an I even scared him a couple time with my methods of super sneaky communication. But I had to be sure OUR SECRET WAS SAFE! After over a month of sneaky planning it all came together great. To say she was surprised would be an understatement. I think she could have wet her pants in fear she was so caught off guard. And we got that on tape!
So despite the fact that this party was back in June, enjoy the photos! :o) Oh and did I mention I did a gluten free menu! Except the cookies striped sticks, but that was more for decor!
The balloon was my super high tech way of not loosing my daughter in the party mayhem. It worked. She wore it all day and didn't want to take it off!
I'm all about homemade cakes but this box gluten free cake was AMAZING! From what I've made so far gluten free is the way to go for flavor! But no party would be complete without that lady's son who randomly decided to go tinkle in the back yard during the party. Oh wait that was MY son! LOL. Like father like son apparently.
