I must admit that I am not particularly fond of my choices this Presidential election. I am without a doubt conservative in regards to my beliefs on more social issues. Abortion, same sex marriage, education, health care etc. But when it comes to the economics of it all I just don't touch base with my Republican candidate. I wish there was a Conservative Democrat party! One where strong family values are core but where the economy isn't about the 5% of the wealthiest men in America. I suppose it's me being a hybrid. I was always more democrat until recently.

How I wish Romney had won the ticket!! I just don't like McCain! But it seems he's all we really got. Poop! Well there's always next time...I'll hold my breath till 2012!

  1. Kelly and I know exactly how you feel about Romney. I keep telling Kelly we could cry, whine, and talk about it till were blue in the face. While you hold your breathe, we'll keep our fingers crossed! Just don't pass out on us (hee, hee, hee)!

  2. I saw your comment on my blog--thanks! I'm sorry that things haven't quite worked out for you yet, but hang in there. Good for you for being temple workers--at least you're doing everything you can to make sure that the Lord can help you out in any way that He can--and there's definite peace in knowing that. We loved our experience working at the temple for many reasons--it really gave us a lot of peace about a lot of things. Anyway, keep the faith--life will work out whatever way it's supposed to for you in the Lord's time! :)

Your 2 cents...
