So after we headed out from Puerto Lindo we headed back to Panama City to meet up with the rest of our group. We stayed one night in a lovely hostel, on a fabulous air mattress, and then we flew to San Blas Islands.
It was amazing there. The water was as clear as day and warm. We did some snorkeling in a sunkin' ship reef and I even saw a baby squid! Too bad our friend Morg cut her foot in the water. Lucky for us we had Dr. DJF there to save the day. While we were there we got to visit the Kuna Villages on other island and see a beautiful culture that is a testimony of utter humility. It was so beautiful and can't wait to go back one day. And I got these beautiful hand made tapestiries and a traditional kuna braclet. Gosh...I just loved it!!
No...I have no idea what that is! But apparently its a hot ticket item in Panama!
This grl was so darling. Probably because you had to pay $1 to take a photo with her! Lol. Apparently the people believed you lost a part of your soul when you took pictures of them. I guess you might as well get paid or it! :o)
